AstroImaging

A few years ago I jumped into Astroimaging. Not a thing for the weak at heart for sure but with help from others and persistence I have finally started getting some nice images.

My equipment now includes a Stellarvue 115mm f/7 Apochromatic Triplet, with a .8 Focal Reducer/Field Flattener at f/5.6 and the SBIG 8300c One-Shot Color on a CGEM mount. I use Polemaster for polar alignment and StarSense for alignment controlled with my laptop on my Imaging Stand.

Below is a slideshow of few images from 2017. Exposure time are between 5 and 10 minutes and about 2 to 3 hours total.
